Sibling & Battledown New Premises Opening Party
Last Friday night we threw a party to ‘warm’ our new warehouse and it worked. On the evening of the 24th, our distillery was warmer and more full of life than ever before.
We were lucky enough to be hosting everyone from local business owners and press, to friends, aunties and uncles and even our Cheltenham MP, but with magicians, musicians and mixologists alongside, delicious food and cocktails there was plenty going on to keep everyone happy.
Incredible magician Alex Robertson left our guests awed and talking about his amazing tricks all night. We loved having him and would recommend him to anyone looking for some exciting entertainment for a party or event.
Jason Davies, former general manager of the notorious Milk Thistle and cocktail aficionado designed a bespoke set of cocktails for us and did demonstrations all night, showing everyone how to make the cocktails at home. The cocktails including a citrus short and strawberry spritz were made up and given out on the night by Harry Wynn-Sands and Tom Noori, two of Cheltenham’s most talented and charismatic bartenders/managers. Tom and Harry are friends as well as ‘work contacts’ and are total professionals, running the bar with ease and making our night 10x less stressful.
Ben Cipolla and Will Downes-Hall provided great music on the night and played everything from Gnarls Barkley to Bob Marley with a guitar and cajon. It really added to the atmosphere and we loved their vibe.
As always, being the hosts we rushed from one ‘hello’ to the next at record pace and ended up feeling like we hadn’t actually spoken to anyone, but from what we saw there were plenty of smiling faces, food being eaten and beer and cocktails drank so our job was done!
We can’t wait to throw more events in the future and keep our distillery and parents brewery as full as possible, but until then, here are some photos of the night…
